The Newport Beach Film Festival is Back!

The Newport Beach Film Festival is here again and  is showcasing more than 350 films to more than 30,000 attendees. It seeks to bring to Orange County the best of classic and contemporary filmmaking from around the world. It has both studio and independent films, and especially features innovative and artistic cinematic works of art.

Film festivals are extremely exciting, as attendees get the opportunity to view huge international releases of films and a wide array of films that you would not otherwise get the chance to see. There are several Chapman undergraduate and graduate student films, independent feature-length films, and large studio production films. A few of the highlights includes Deadheads, East Fifth Bliss, and Ghild.

The Newport Beach Film Festival starts on April 28 and ends on May 5. For tickets and a list of films showing, check out Newport Beach Film Festival’s website. http://www.newportbeachfilmfest.com/2011/
